On Thursday, Law uploaded two stunning photos of Zendaya recreating the now-iconic look.

She wore the same white beaded braids and billowing black-and-white Carolina Herrera ballgown donned by both Venus and Serena for their first-ever Vogue shoot.

The striking recreation closes out the weeks-long Challengers press tour that saw Zendaya hit the red carpet in many tennis-themed looks.

‘An ode to the GREATS @venuswilliams @serenawilliams We thank you for all you have done! With Love, Z and Law,’ Law captioned Thursday’s post.

Venus, 43, quickly got wind of Zendaya’s outfit homage and flocked to Law’s comment section to share her thoughts.

‘Wow. No words! So much love for you,’ the seven-time Grand Slam winner gushed.

Venus then re-shared the Zendaya portraits with her 2million followers, writing: ‘My heart melted with this one. Iconic @zendaya’

Last week, Venus attended the LA premiere of Challengers with the film’s stars Zendaya, Mike Faist and Josh O’Connor.

Venus and Serena, 42, started playing tennis at the age of four and began competing at a professional level as teens.

The sisters made history in 1998 when they nabbed their first Grand Slam title together. They’re both among the greatest tennis players of all time with an incredible 30 Grand Slam titles between them – seven for Venus and 23 for Serena.

Venus is still playing professionally but Serena retired from the court in 2022.

In Challengers, which is set for release on April 26, Zendaya plays a fallen tennis icon who gives up her career after suffering a major injury.

Zendaya treated fans in Milan and London to her tennis-themed looks last week

Instead, she focuses on coaching her colleague Art (Faist), whom she falls in love with and marries.

But Tashi finds her feelings dangerously divided after Art is enrolled on the Challenger Tour, where he faces off against Tashi’s ex-boyfriend Patrick (O’Connor).

The sizzling feature comes from Suspiria and Call Me By Your Name director Luca Guadagnino.

The acclaimed filmmaker praised Zendaya’s talents, explaining she worked with tennis pro and former player Brad Gilbert to prepare for the part.

Luca gushed to Variety last October: ‘She’s wonderful. I mean, wow. We edited the movie and we almost actually don’t use any of her double. She’s so good.

Zendaya has branded the film ‘incredibly sexy’ despite there being no actual sex scenes in the movie.

She recently told PEOPLE that ‘tennis is the sex’ in the storyline – despite the film’s steamy love triangle storyline between Zendaya’s character and co-stars O’Connor and Faist being heavily trailed.

‘I’ve been asked a lot about sex scenes, like, ‘What was it like shooting the sex scenes?’ from people who have seen the movie, and I’m like, ‘What sex scenes?’

‘And they’re like, ‘Oh my God, technically not really.’

‘We keep saying tennis is the sex in the movie, and I think tennis holds a metaphor for a lot of things: desires, passion, pain, anger, frustration.

‘I think they all use tennis as this way of communicating with each other when they just don’t have the words.’
