The 2024 Screen Actors Guild Nominations SuperNayr

Nominations for the 30th annual Screen Actor’s Guild Awards were announced today and both “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer” led the way in the film field with four nominatons each.

Both came in ahead of “American Fiction” and “Killers of the Flower Moon” with three, followed by “The Holdovers,” “The Color Purple,” “Nyad” and “Maestro” with two.

On the TV front, “Succession” held the top spot with five nominations followed by “The Last of Us,” “The Bear” and “Ted Lasso” with four each.

Of the films, Warners led with six nominations followed by Netflix with five and Universal with four. Of the series, HBO Max was way out in front with thirteen followed by Apple TV+ with eight and Netflix with seven.

The announcements come as the Directors Guild of America announced its nominees today with Barbie’s Greta Gerwig, Oppenheimer’s Christopher Nolan, Poor Things’ Yorgos Lanthimos, Killers of the Flower Moon’s Martin Scorsese and The Holdovers’ Alexander Payne vying for the top prize.

The Screen Actor’s Guild ceremony will be presented on Netflix on February 24th.
