Terri Irwin leans on her ‘unbreakable bond’ with Blue Wiggle Anthony Field after tragic loss of late husband Steve: ‘He stepped up and she’s never forgotten it’

Terri Irwin and Blue Wiggle Anthony Field’s heartwarming friendship has become a beacon of strength over the years since the tragic death of Steve Irwin in 2006.

And now, it appears Anthony has been lending an empathetic ear and fatherly advice to Steve’s children while offering Terri a dependable shoulder to lean on.

According to New Idea, big-hearted Anthony, 60, has become an integral figure in the lives of 59-year-old Terri and her children, Bindi, 25, and Robert, 19.

‘Anthony loved Steve and he loves Terri, Bindi, and Robert, and that’s created an unbreakable bond,’ a source told the publication.

‘Anthony really is family to them all, and I know he was a huge support for Terri when Steve died. He stepped up and she’s never forgotten it.’

Robert recently expressed his feelings towards the Wiggles family, saying, ‘I consider it an honour to be part of The Wiggles family for so long.’

The young Irwin felt privileged to continue his father’s legacy when he performed his father’s part in The Wiggles song, The Crocodile Hunter.

‘I find it so special to carry on this legacy for my dad,’ Robert added, showing the profound impact of Anthony’s presence and support in their lives.

Steve tragically died in 2006 after a stingray’s barb pierced his chest while on the Great Barrier Reef.
