
Netflix has premiered the teaser trailer for its animated new spin-off series “Castlevania: Nocturne” with is set to premiere on the service on September 28th.
The series is reportedly set during the French Revolution at the end of the 18th century and follows Richter Belmont, a descendent of Trevor, on a dangerous adventure.
Expect all the vampires, monsters, and other beasts you come to expect from the celebrated Konami video game franchise turned acclaimed 2017 Netflix animated series, which ran for four seasons.
Clive Bradley created and pens the series whilst Kevin Kolde will serve as the showrunner. Project 51 Productions and Powerhouse Animation are behind the series which Sam and Adam Deats will be directing.
The voice cast includes Richard Armitage and Graham McTavish, reprising their Trevor Belmont and Dracula roles respectively. Emily Swallow, James Callis, Tony Amendola, Alejandra Reynoso, Shin’ichiro Miki, Naoya Uchida, Ryôtarô Okiayu and Ayaka Shimoyamada also star
1993’s “Castlevania: Rondo of Blood” and 1997’s “Castlevania: Symphony of the Night” are reportedly serving as the source material as Richter is a main character in one, and supporting character in the other.
