Star Trek: Prodigy
Paramount Home Entertainment has announced a September 16th release date for the Blu-ray and DVD release of the second half of the first season of “Star Trek: Prodigy”. In addition, that ten-episode run has just been made available for digital purchase. [Source: Paramount Home Entertainment]

Welcome to Wrexham
FX has announced that the second season of “Welcome to Wrexham,” the docuseries about Ryan Reynolds, Rob McElhenney and their struggling Welsh soccer team Wrexham A.F.C., will premiere September 12th.

The series explores the tradition of Wrexham, the third oldest professional football club, and its passionate fanbase as Reynolds and McElhenney attempt to restore the team to prominence. The second season will launch on Disney+ via Star in all other territories at a later time. [Source: Twitter]

Special Ops: Lioness
A new featurette has been released for Taylor Sheridan’s CIA thriller series “Special Ops: Lioness,” which premieres today on the Paramount+ service. Zoe Saldana and Nicole Kidman star.

The espionage thriller has Saldana playing the director of the Lioness Program director tasked with training, managing and leading her female undercover operatives while she attempts to balance her personal and professional life.

Tiny Toons Looniversity
The official theme song has been released for Warner Bros. Animation’s reboot of “Tiny Toon Adventures”. The new series is expected to debut sometime this Fall on Cartoon Network and Max.

Titled “Tiny Toons Looniversity,” the new theme has been composed by Matthew Janszen and pays tribute to the iconic Bruce Broughton-created theme from the original series.
