Srikanth Bolla’s incredible journey from challenges to triumphs is soon hitting the silver screen in the film Srikanth, featuring Rajkummar Rao as the lead.

Despite his visual impairment, Bolla, who achieved immense success as an industrialist, recognises the sensitivity of sharing his life story, stressing the need for it to be depicted with care and responsibility.

As per media reports, Bolla was Initially unsure about a biopic and was persuaded by director Tushar Hiranandani’s commitment to portraying his story positively. He insisted that the film should focus on happiness and success rather than dwelling on a sad narrative. He aims to celebrate resilience and the joys of life.

Srikanth Bolla stated, “I am very shy and avoid media attention. However, Tushar’s persistent pursuit persuaded me. He reached out to my business partner, Ravi Mantha, and assured me of his intention to depict the story with positivity and hope. I emphasised the importance of avoiding a sombre tone and documentary style. Despite challenges, life can be fulfilling. My aim was for the film to reflect the happiness and success I’ve experienced. While it may touch on educational challenges, it’s ultimately about resilience and overcoming obstacles.”

Set to release on May 10, Srikanth also stars Jyotika and Alaya F, with Rajkummar Rao’s portrayal adding depth to the story. Bolla, who visited the set during filming, praises Rao’s dedication and authenticity in capturing his character’s mannerisms.

Despite having limited dates for filming, Rao’s outstanding performance surpassed expectations, leaving a lasting impact on Bolla and the film’s crew.
