Genneya Walton has joined the cast of Marvel Studios’ “Daredevil: Born Again” series which is currently in production in New York.
Walton has joined the cast as a journalist character and has “ties with someone from the original Daredevil series”, but they don’t go so far as to say who.
Speculation has quickly arisen that she’s the daughter or granddaughter of Ben Urich (Vondie Curtis-Hall) who appeared in the first season and was killed by Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio).
The casting comes as set photos and video are popping up all over social media and show off not just good looks at the new and much more red suit but also a look at Wilson Bethel’s Bullseye in his new costume.
The videos have also shown plenty of glimpses of Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Elden Henson and Deborah Ann Woll at work sharing scenes together (along with laughs between takes).
Sandrine Holt, Michael Gandolfini, and Margarita Levieva co-star in the new season alongside Jon Bernthal who returns in his previous role of Frank Castle/The Punisher.
