I'm a Celebrity bloodbath continues as yet another beloved contestant is booted off ahead of finale SuperNayr

Peter Daicos is the latest star to be kicked off I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Australia as the show hurtles towards the finale.

The AFL legend missed out after a public vote up against Stephen K Amos and Tristan MacManus.

‘Thank you, thank you for everything, you guys made it what it is’ he told his campmates.

‘Nothing else, nothing short of brilliant. Thank you’ he added.

In his exit interview, Peter likened his time on the show to his days playing football with his former team Collingwood.

‘It’s hard to put into words what happened out here. I mean, it’s 25 days and we took a bit of pleasure in marking off each day’ he said.

‘You get up in the morning and you don’t feel like as you did two days ago or yesterday, that is just the norm, but you rely on the people around you.

‘And I had plenty of quiet moments and I wanted to use this as a bit of a reflection and get something out of it.’

Peter was playing for his chosen charity, Flicker of Hope, a Neurofibromatosis research and awareness group.

‘As a family we were involved so I was initially asked to go along and support, so I went along and I since found out it was the family’ he said.

‘Zoe Petropoulos (founder of the Flicker of Hope Foundation) has the condition and her family pushes to have the research and development done.

‘So they were doing a lot of fundraisers but more importantly putting their own money into trying to get some answers’.
