Britney Spears' ex-husband Sam Asghari ordered not to 'say anything negative or positive' about her SuperNayr

Sam Asghari has reportedly been instructed not to speak publicly about his past relationship with Britney Spears.

One month after the former couple finalized their divorce by a Los Angeles County judge, nearly two years after they were married, sources told TMZ that he ‘pretty much got a gag order when it comes to’ what he can say about the pop star, 42.

The insider noted that this applies to ‘anything negative, or even positive, about her.’

This means fans should not expect to hear him talk about their time together or split while appearing on Peacock’s murder mystery competition, The Traitors, in which he will compete against Tom Sandoval, Chrishell Stause and more for up to $250,000.

Despite Spears allegedly not wanting to hear her name come out of his mouth, the 40-year-old, who she first met in 2016 while shooting the singer’s Slumber Party music video, has only expressed his support for her since they called it quits.

In March, he revealed he cherishes his memories with the Lucky hitmaker.

‘It was a blessing to be able to share life with someone for a long time. And people grow apart and people move on,’ he told People, at the time.

Asghari continued: ‘I never understood when people part ways [and] they talk badly about each other. That’s something I’m never going to do because I had nothing but an amazing experience and a great life.’

Back in August 2023, Sam broke his silence after filing for divorce by taking to his Instagram with an emotional message.

‘After six years of love and commitment to each other my wife and I have decided to end our journey together,’ he wrote.

He continued: ‘We will hold onto the love and respect we have for each other and I wish her the best always,’ adding: ‘S**t happens.’

When Britney addressed the end of their 14-month marriage for the first time in August, she told her 42.1 Instagram followers that she was ‘a little shocked.’

‘I couldn’t take the pain anymore honestly!!!’ she captioned a video of herself dancing in her living room.

She continued: ‘I’ve been playing it strong for way too long and my Instagram may seem perfect but it’s far from reality and I think we all know that!!!’

The mother-of-two went on to admit that she ‘would love to show’ her ’emotions and tears’ online, but always feels the need to ‘hide’ her ‘weaknesses.’

‘And I’m actually doing pretty d**n good!!! Anyways have a good day and don’t forget to smile!!!’ she concluded.

In October, he reacted to Spears’ comments about him in her tell-all memoir The Woman In Me.

In response to being called a ‘gift from God’ in his ex’s book, Asghari said the description made him ‘smile to be honest.’

‘I am freaking proud of her and I hope she takes over the world,’ he said.

In her memoir, Spears has only nice things to say about her former partner.

‘I have an appreciation for how stable he is. I love that he doesn’t even drink,’ she wrote of Asghari.

The mom-of-two told also told readers that she ‘knew’ she wanted him in her ‘life immediately.’

‘The chemistry with us in the beginning was insane. We couldn’t keep our hands off each other,’ she recalled.

The Grammy winner also credited her former lover for giving her the strength to speak out against her ‘abusive’ 13-year conservatorship.

During her open court hearing in June 2021, Spears said Asghari ‘squeezed’ her hand as a signal of his support.

‘I look up to him — his consistency with working out and being a good man and being healthy and taking care of me and helping me learn how we can take care of each other,’ she gushed. ‘He’s such an inspiration and I’m grateful.’
